November 21, 2009November 9th, 2009, the Greenman Ministry became recognized as a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation. They already have one priest and one priestess leading Wiccan services in three different Texas prisons.

November 21, 2009The Mission of the Greenman Ministry is to promote and implement Wiccan and related religious practices and education within the prisons of Texas and surrounding states. To these ends, the Greenman Ministry conducts Wiccan religious services, teaches classes about Wicca, operates in cooperation with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) chaplaincy, and makes Wiccan religious literature and items available to offenders in compliance with state and federal laws.
